劲量 to Expand Operations in Asheboro

Asheboro, NC – 劲量 Holdings, Inc. has announced that it will 成长 its production and packaging operations in Asheboro with a commitment to invest $43 million in machinery and equipment over a four-year period. The global leader in household batteries, including the 劲量 brand with its iconic 劲量 Bunny, currently manufactures nearly 1.5 billion batteries in Asheboro annually, a number that will increase based on the company’s announced plans.

劲量, which will celebrate 75 total years in the community this summer, has two facilities in Asheboro – one where batteries are produced, and another which focuses on packaging. Both facilities will see increased investment and job creation as a result of 劲量’s announcement.

劲量 is committed to retaining its existing workforce of 411 current full-time employees while creating an additional 178 positions with an average annual wage of $54,000. 新职位, 其中包括运营商, 维修人员, 监事, 和工程师, will be created over a five-year period beginning this year. 新职位 will add approximately $9.6 million in additional annual payroll to the community.
